Portable Spectrum Analyzer The PSA-39B Portable Spectrum Analyzer is designed for a specific use. The 950 – 2150 MHz range covers all commn satellite bands and with five resolution bandwidths, from 3 MHz to 75 KHz, make the PSA-39B a powerful diagnostic intrument for satellite & HDTV installations. The Multi-function LCD shows center frequency of the CRT, span setting in MHz/DIV, and the start and stop frequeincies of the sweep. The internal Digital Frequency Lock prevents analyzer drift. A unique band selection feature allows offset of the frequency readout to directly display L, C, or Ku Band frequencies. DBS/DSS Dish Alignment a Snap! If you are doing DBS installs, you need to be on and off the job fast! DBS signals such as DISH NETWORK, PRIMESTAR, and DIRECT-TV can be seen with AVCOM’s PSA-39B. Normal DBS antenna alignments, such as roof, wall, or backyard, can be accomplished in seconds because the DBS receiver and TV monitor do not have to be at the antenna. Creative Installations Made Easy The PSA-39B can really help with more creative DBS dish installations (inside buildings, looking through sparse foliage or windows, smaller antennas, etc). When the signal obtained is not optimum or there is uncertainty where to point the dish, it is difficult to use the receiver’s built-in alignment program. Using the PSA-39B, the signal can be quickly located and measured even though it is below the receiver’s signal strength requirement.
